Manufacturing Summary

Production of these 250 aluminum PCBs focused on a long, narrow single-layer format measuring 1031.75 × 10.16 mm. Built on a 1.6 mm thick aluminum base with 2.0W thermal conductivity and 2 oz copper, the boards incorporate 10/10 mil track spacing, 1.5 mm minimum holes, black solder mask, and white silkscreen. The specification also calls for AC 2500 V withstand voltage, making thermal management and insulation critical during lamination and processing.

 

We prepared the metal base, performed circuit imaging and etching, then applied thick copper electroplating with controlled etching to define the traces accurately. Thermal insulation lamination followed to support heat dissipation requirements. Black solder mask was applied before the molten solder coating and hot air leveling steps to achieve the HASL Lead Free finish.

 

Over the 13.9-day schedule, AOI inspection, electrical testing, and targeted heat dissipation controls ensured all boards met the required parameters with stable quality. This execution delivered durable aluminum PCBs suited for applications demanding efficient thermal performance and high voltage reliability.
