These five aluminum PCBs were produced as individual boards with dimensions of 482 x 44 mm and 1.6 mm thickness. Featuring a 1.0W thermal conductivity base, 1oz copper, 20/20 mil minimum track and spacing, and 1.5 mm minimum hole size, the design presented standard geometry but required specific handling for the metal substrate. Black solder mask, white silkscreen, and HASL Lead Free finish were selected to meet the AC2500V voltage withstand specification.
Manufacturing involved careful metal base preparation, circuit imaging and etching, and thermal insulation lamination to achieve effective heat dissipation.
