Production of this batch of 25 single-layer aluminum PCBs required attention to the boards' extended length of nearly 705 mm and narrow 70 mm width. Specified at 1.0 mm thickness with 1 oz copper and 1.0W thermal conductivity, the design uses standard 10/10 mil track spacing, 1.5 mm minimum holes, black soldermask, white silkscreen, and HASL Lead Free finish. These parameters, combined with AC2500V voltage withstand capability, called for controlled processing to ensure thermal performance and electrical isolation.
We prepared the aluminum base and executed thermal insulation lamination to establish proper heat transfer layers. Circuit imaging and etching created the required pattern, after which black solder mask and white legend were applied. The surface was finished with molten solder coating and hot air leveling to produce a uniform HASL Lead Free coating suitable for PCB assembly.
Heat dissipation control and full electrical testing verified consistent quality across the order. All key manufacturing processes were completed within the 10.9-day production window, resulting in reliable aluminum PCBs optimized for thermal management.
