This order comprised five single-layer aluminum PCBs measuring 27.5 × 720 mm with 2.0 mm overall thickness, 2 oz copper, and 2.0 W/mK thermal conductivity. The long, narrow format required careful metal base preparation and thermal insulation lamination to ensure flatness and reliable heat dissipation across the entire length. With a 10/10 mil trace and spacing specification and 1.5 mm minimum hole size, standard imaging and etching processes were applied, followed by thick copper electroplating and controlled etching to meet the AC2500V voltage withstand requirement without compromising the aluminum substrate.

 

White solder mask and black silkscreen were applied after circuit formation, then the boards received lead-free HASL surface finish through molten solder coating and hot air leveling. Heat dissipation control steps were maintained throughout to preserve the material's thermal performance. Production took 7.3 days from engineering review through final electrical testing, resulting in consistent board quality suited to heat-intensive single-PCB applications.
