Manufacturing Summary

For this aluminum PCB project, we manufactured 25 panels of 772 x 100 mm dimensions on 1.6 mm aluminum core material offering 1.0W thermal conductivity. These single sided boards included 1 oz copper weight, conventional 10/10 mil track and spacing, and large 1.5 mm minimum holes. Application of white solder mask with black silkscreen and HASL Lead Free finish ensured compliance with the AC2500V voltage withstand requirement.

 

Key manufacturing steps involved dedicated metal base preparation and thermal insulation lamination to optimize heat transfer characteristics. Circuit imaging and etching were executed on the aluminum base, followed by solder mask application, molten solder coating, and hot air leveling for a flat, solderable surface. Heat dissipation control was maintained at each stage.

 

The production was completed in 6.2 days with all boards successfully passing electrical testing. This execution yielded panels with consistent quality for high-reliability thermal management uses.
