The manufacturing of these 15 single-layer aluminum PCBs centered on effective thermal management for the long 772 x 100 mm panels. Each 1.6 mm thick board features a 1.0W thermal conductivity aluminum base with 1 oz copper foil. Standard 10 mil track and spacing along with 1.5 mm minimum holes were implemented, together with white solder mask, black silkscreen, and HASL Lead Free finish. The stackup was processed to support AC 2500V voltage withstand.
We performed metal base preparation and thermal insulation lamination to establish reliable dielectric bonding for heat transfer. This was followed by circuit imaging and etching, solder mask application, then molten solder coating with hot air leveling to apply the lead-free finish.
Comprehensive electrical testing and heat dissipation control steps verified that every panel performed to specification. The full production sequence took 10.3 days and delivered consistent aluminum PCBs for thermally challenging applications.
