Manufacturing Summary

The manufacturing of these 100 flexible PCBs centered on a thin 0.13 mm construction using rolled copper on polyimide material. Each 18.02 x 16.59 mm board was produced as a single piece, with 2 layers, standard 6/6 mil track and spacing, yellow soldermask, white silkscreen, and no stiffeners. Material preparation and polyimide handling preserved the substrate integrity from start to finish, while coverlay lamination maintained the required flexibility.

 

Circuit imaging and etching were followed by solder mask application and surface finishing through electroless nickel deposition and immersion gold deposition to produce a reliable ENIG finish. Dynamic flex testing verified the boards could endure repeated bending, and full electrical testing confirmed continuity and performance across the full run. These steps ensured the thin flexible circuits met all dimensional and functional requirements.

 

The complete sequence was executed in 7.2 days, resulting in consistent delivery of compact flexible PCBs suited for applications where space and movement are critical.
