Manufacturing Summary

This 2-layer FR-4 board (105.2 × 135.2 mm, 1.0 mm thick, TG150) was produced as 3×4 panels for 240 pieces total. Lead-free HASL surface finish was applied over 6 mil line/space geometry with green solder mask and no silkscreen. The thinner board construction and customer self-panelization required close attention to tab strength and via treatment during a 1-day turnaround.

 

DFM coordination resolved several specification conflicts. Dimensional tolerance was adjusted from customer ±0.1 mm to standard ±0.15 mm capability. Gerber files showed mixed via tenting and opening instructions that were clarified against the noted cover oil requirement. Bottom layer solder mask period marking and inconsistencies between single-piece and panel files were aligned, while small connection tabs were enlarged with added stamp holes to prevent premature breakage during depanelization.

 

All adjustments were implemented before production release, allowing reliable HASL application and clean panel separation. The urgent order completed with 100% flying probe testing and full quality documentation including electrical reports and outgoing inspection records. Boards met dimensional and functional requirements for customer assembly.
