Manufacturing Summary

Five single 2-layer FR4 PCBs were produced for this order, each measuring 198 × 128 mm with a finished thickness of 1.6 mm and 1 oz copper weight. The design called for 6/6 mil minimum track and spacing together with 0.3 mm minimum hole size, placing the geometry within conventional parameters. Without impedance control requirements, engineering review and material preparation focused on maintaining precise registration and etch uniformity during circuit imaging.

 

Green solder mask and white silkscreen were applied prior to surface finishing. Molten solder coating followed by hot air leveling created a uniform HASL Lead Free layer that supports reliable component assembly. Every board then completed full electrical testing to confirm continuity and isolation across the small five-piece run.

 

The entire sequence from initial review through final inspection took 2.8 days. Process parameters were adjusted for the board size and thickness to minimize warp and ensure consistent copper distribution, resulting in stable mechanical and electrical performance suited to the customer’s application.
