This 4-layer FR-4 board measured 280.7 × 166.4 mm with 1.6 mm thickness, TG130 material, and 1 oz copper on both sides. Produced in high volume as 13 200 pieces across 1×3 panels for 4 400 sets, the order used leaded HASL surface finish, green solder mask, and white silkscreen. Minimum holes were 0.3 mm with a tight 4 mil line/space geometry. V-cut separation was applied without process edges, and the 5-day schedule included engineering test fixtures. Customer requirements also called for UL certification marking and a date code.
DFM review resolved panel and silkscreen details. Panelization was confirmed as 1×3 based on the supplied single-piece customer file. Multiple silkscreen characters fell below process capability (minimum practical width 0.127 mm and height 0.8 mm), and some were positioned on pads; the resulting characters would be incomplete or blurred after printing. These limitations were accepted and the artwork was processed according to the original files. UL and date-code markings were added in suitable locations.
Confirmed panel construction and silkscreen acceptance were implemented prior to production. The high-volume run achieved consistent HASL thickness consistency across the full quantity within the planned timeline. Full electrical test reports and quality certificates accompanied the shipment, confirming the boards met the specified mechanical and electrical requirements.
