Manufacturing Summary

This order comprised five 2-layer FR4 PCBs, each measuring 147.3 × 53.8 mm with standard 1.6 mm thickness and 1 oz copper. The design called for conventional 6/6 mil trace and spacing together with 0.3 mm minimum holes, paired with immersion gold ENIG surface finish to ensure solderability and long-term corrosion resistance. Green solder mask and white silkscreen provided clear contrast without complicating the straightforward single-board layout.

 

Production followed a disciplined sequence beginning with engineering review and material preparation tailored to the exact dimensions and stackup. Circuit imaging and etching produced clean conductor definition, after which solder mask was applied and cured. Electroless nickel deposition and immersion gold plating were executed under tight process controls to achieve uniform coverage on the relatively small batch, avoiding edge effects common in ENIG finishes.

 

Each board then underwent full electrical testing to verify netlist integrity before final inspection. The complete run was delivered in 2.9 days, demonstrating consistent execution for low-volume ENIG-finished 2-layer FR4 designs where surface quality and dimensional stability directly support downstream assembly reliability.
