This order comprised ten single 1-layer aluminum PCBs measuring 65 × 633 mm with 1.0 mm total thickness, 1 oz copper, and 1.0 W thermal conductivity. The elongated format, 1.5 mm minimum hole size, and AC2500V withstand voltage demanded precise metal base preparation and controlled thermal insulation lamination to maintain flatness and dielectric integrity across the length. Standard 10/10 mil track spacing kept geometry within conventional parameters while the black soldermask and white silkscreen required uniform application over the aluminum substrate.

 

Manufacturing followed a sequenced flow: engineering review, circuit imaging and etching, thermal insulation lamination, solder mask application, then molten solder coating with hot air leveling to produce a consistent HASL Lead Free surface. Heat dissipation control steps were integrated after lamination to preserve the specified thermal path. The long aspect ratio necessitated adjusted conveyor speeds and fixture support during coating and leveling to avoid bow or uneven solder thickness.

 

Final electrical testing confirmed voltage withstand and circuit continuity on all boards. The complete run was delivered in 2.4 days, yielding reliable aluminum PCBs suited for power thermal management applications.
