Manufacturing Summary

This production run of 100 single-layer aluminum PCBs measured 30 × 648 mm with 1.6 mm thickness and 1.0 W thermal conductivity. The boards carried 1 oz copper, 10/10 mil track spacing, 1.5 mm minimum holes, white solder mask, and black silkscreen. HASL Lead Free surface finish was applied to meet the AC2500V voltage withstand specification while preserving the aluminum base’s heat-transfer characteristics.

 

Manufacturing followed a sequence of metal base preparation, thermal insulation lamination, circuit imaging and etching, followed by solder mask application, molten solder coating, and hot air leveling. Heat dissipation control steps were maintained at each thermal stage to prevent warping of the long, narrow panels and to keep the dielectric layer uniform. The extended board length required careful handling during lamination and leveling to ensure flatness and consistent copper adhesion.

 

Electrical testing verified thermal conductivity, dielectric strength, and circuit continuity across the full batch. The order was completed in 1.9 days, delivering aluminum PCBs that meet both thermal management and high-voltage requirements in a linear form factor.
