Manufacturing Summary

These 150 aluminum PCBs were produced as panels measuring 11.3 by 7 inches, each with a 1oz copper layer on an aluminum base rated at 8.0W thermal conductivity and 1mm thickness. The combination of high thermal performance and AC3000V voltage withstand demanded precise metal base preparation and controlled thermal insulation lamination. We managed the dielectric bonding to maintain thermal paths while preserving electrical isolation across the single-layer design.

 

Circuit imaging and etching followed the 10/10 mil track spacing and 1.5mm minimum hole size without complication. White soldermask and black silkscreen were applied before the boards advanced to molten solder coating and hot air leveling, resulting in a consistent HASL Lead Free surface. The panel format allowed efficient processing through solder mask application and leveling while supporting the required heat dissipation characteristics.

 

Electrical testing and dedicated heat dissipation verification confirmed stable performance across the full batch. Production was completed in 16.4 days with process parameters specifically adjusted for this aluminum PCB specification, delivering boards that meet the thermal and electrical requirements of the intended application.
