Manufacturing Summary

This batch comprised 1000 pieces of single-sided 1-layer FR4 PCBs sized at 105 x 57 mm, built to 1.6 mm thickness with 1 oz copper. Without PCB soldermask or silkscreen, the manufacturing sequence prioritized circuit imaging and etching to establish the required conductor pattern at 6/6 mil resolution, followed by drilling for 0.3 mm and larger holes.

 

OSP surface finish was applied through controlled organic coating and anti-oxidation treatment to protect the exposed copper for assembly. The custom stackup was followed from material preparation, with integrated AOI inspection and electrical testing performed after etching to verify every board. Production wrapped up in 2.5 days with steady process parameters maintained throughout.

 

Free of impedance control or finer geometries, the order moved efficiently while still requiring careful handling to avoid oxidation before the OSP step. The resulting boards showed consistent trace definition and surface condition across the full quantity, matching the intended bare-copper application.
