This compact 4-layer FR-4 board (53.8 × 55.02 mm, 1.6 mm thick, TG150, 1 oz copper) was produced in 5×2 panels for a total of 50 pieces. The design incorporated tight 3 mil line/space geometry and lead-free HASL surface finish with green solder mask and white silkscreen. Process edges of 4 mm supported V-cut plus routing separation, and 100% flying probe testing verified electrical integrity across the batch.

 

DFM coordination focused on several layout challenges. Overlapping characters without adjustment space were reviewed for legibility impact, while silkscreen elements positioned on or near pads risked soldering interference. Inner layer SIG2T required verification for anomalies, and the proposed 0.8 mm stamp holes with only 0.1 mm spacing threatened premature board separation during handling. Panel layout was confirmed against customer intent before proceeding.

 

Adjustments to stamp hole configuration and silkscreen placement were implemented to maintain mechanical strength and assembly compatibility. Production completed on schedule within the 11-day window, delivering consistent HASL coverage and reliable performance in the tight-geometry multilayer structure. Full test reports and quality documentation accompanied the shipment.
