Manufacturing Summary

Five single 2-layer FR4 PCBs were produced to the exact dimensions of 100 × 160 mm, 1.6 mm thickness, and 2 oz copper weight. With a conventional 6/6 mil trace and spacing requirement and 0.3 mm minimum hole size, the manufacturing sequence emphasized precise circuit imaging, thick copper electroplating, and tightly controlled etching to preserve trace geometry and avoid undercut on the heavier foil. Green solder mask and white silkscreen were applied in standard thicknesses before surface finishing.

 

The immersion gold ENIG finish was formed through electroless nickel deposition followed by immersion gold, delivering a flat, oxidation-resistant pad surface suited for the customer’s assembly needs. No impedance control was required, allowing standard stackup parameters to be used without additional tuning. Every board completed full electrical testing with zero defects recorded.

 

The complete order moved through engineering review to final test in 2.4 days, maintaining consistent copper distribution and edge definition across all five panels. This execution reflects reliable processing of 2 oz copper boards with ENIG finish in small-batch quantities.
