Manufacturing Summary

For this order of five standard 4-layer FR4 PCBs, we processed boards with 2oz copper weight, 250 x 80 mm dimensions, and 1.6 mm overall thickness. The minimum 6 mil track and spacing combined with 0.3 mm hole sizes represented a conventional specification set. We handled these through our established sequence of inner layer imaging, precise circuit etching, and thick copper electroplating to maintain uniform conductor thickness across all layers.

 

Layer stack alignment prior to high pressure lamination ensured stable multilayer structures. Green solder mask and white silkscreen were applied prior to the surface finish stage. Molten solder coating followed by hot air leveling produced the HASL with Lead finish, chosen for its compatibility with the board design and reliable performance in assembly processes.

 

Subsequent electrical testing verified continuity and isolation on all five boards, with no issues identified in the plated through holes or etched features. The complete manufacturing cycle took 3.2 days, delivering consistent quality that aligns with the customer's specifications for these thicker copper multilayer boards.
