Manufacturing Summary

This 2-layer FR-4 board measured 226 × 350 mm with 1.6 mm thickness, TG150 material, and 1 oz copper on both sides. Produced in high volume as 3000 pieces across 1×12 panels for a total of 250 sets, the order used lead-free HASL surface finish, cold white solder mask, and black silkscreen. Minimum line/space remained at standard 6 mil with 0.3 mm holes, and the short 3-day schedule required 100% flying probe testing together with mechanical routing separation.

 

DFM coordination resolved three process points before release. System requirements specified tented vias, yet the customer Gerber showed openings at indicated locations; the treatment was confirmed and applied consistently. Panel tabs followed factory standard by adding mouse bites for reliable separation. Locating holes of 3.0 mm diameter were reviewed for process capability, confirming whether precision routing was required to maintain positional accuracy on the large panels.

 

All confirmed adjustments were implemented, ensuring uniform via coverage and clean panel breakout. The high-volume run achieved consistent HASL thickness consistency across the full batch within the accelerated timeline. Electrical test reports and quality certificates accompanied the shipment, confirming the boards met the specified mechanical and electrical requirements.
