These 30 panelized 2-layer FR4 boards measured 148 x 130 mm with a standard 1.6 mm thickness using 1 oz copper layers. The design called for 6/6 mil minimum track and spacing along with 0.3 mm holes, fitting comfortably within conventional manufacturing tolerances. We applied green soldermask and white silkscreen according to the specified requirements.
After engineering review and material preparation, circuit imaging and etching formed the copper patterns on the custom stackup. Solder mask application preceded the molten solder coating and hot air leveling steps that produced the HASL Lead Free finish. This approach ensured good planarity and long-term solderability for the panels without requiring impedance control.
Comprehensive electrical testing confirmed the integrity of all 30 panels before completion. The full production cycle took 2.1 days, resulting in a consistent set of standard 2-layer FR4 PCBs ready for the customer's use.
