This production run delivered 100 single-layer aluminum PCBs in panel format, each measuring 145 × 146.5 mm with 1.6 mm thickness, 1 oz copper, and 2.0W thermal conductivity. The combination of high reflectivity white soldermask and black silkscreen demanded exact control during application to preserve both optical performance and thermal transfer characteristics. We performed metal base preparation, circuit imaging and etching, followed by thermal insulation lamination to maintain consistent heat dissipation across the aluminum core. Solder mask application, organic coating for OSP, and anti-oxidation treatment were sequenced to protect the traces without affecting solderability or reflectivity. Heat dissipation control steps were integrated at each thermal stage to ensure the finished boards met the specified 2.0W conductivity.
Electrical testing confirmed all panels satisfied the voltage withstand requirement. The complete order was manufactured in 2.4 days, producing reliable aluminum PCBs suited for LED and power applications where efficient thermal management is essential.
