Manufacturing Summary

Production for this order comprised 400 units of 2-layer flexible PCBs built on 0.2 mm polyimide with rolled copper. The compact boards measure 65.2 x 19.4 mm and specify 6/6 mil track and spacing, 0.3 mm minimum hole size, yellow soldermask, white silkscreen lettering, and OSP surface finish. No stiffeners were applied, keeping the design lightweight and highly flexible.

 

Polyimide material handling followed dedicated procedures to ensure flatness and cleanliness prior to circuit imaging and etching. Coverlay lamination provided necessary insulation, after which yellow solder mask and the OSP organic coating were applied with anti-oxidation treatment. We conducted dynamic flex testing to qualify the boards for cyclic bending performance.

 

Batch AOI inspection together with electrical testing validated compliance and uniformity throughout all 400 boards. The complete process from engineering review to final yield control was accomplished in 5.7 days, resulting in a dependable delivery of these custom-colored flexible PCBs.
