I recently ordered five Apollo 3.0 PLC boards from Aivon and was very impressed with the overall experience. The ordering process is straightforward and similar to other major manufacturers: upload your Gerber files and get an instant online quote. The boards arrived via FedEx in strong, well-protected packaging. What really stood out is the flexibility with silkscreen colors. I received boards with a black solder mask and yellow silkscreen, which looks excellent. In my experience with JLCPCB, darker mask colors usually force white silkscreen only. Aivon allows more color choices, which is a clear advantage for custom designs. The manufacturing quality is on par with the best in the industry. I’m looking forward to assembling these boards (the new 3.0 model has a redesigned power section and an IO expander) and will likely order more in the future. Highly recommended as a reliable option.

Hi AIVON Team, Thank you for following up. I received order GP8288 successfully and have now also completed the initial testing. Everything is working properly so far. This was a relatively complex rigid-flex prototype, including an 8-layer rigid section, 3-layer flex section, controlled-impedance high-speed differential routing, and specific mechanical requirements for the flex and contact areas. I especially appreciated the engineering support before fabrication. Your team worked with me through several EQ reviews to optimize the rigid-flex stack-up, materials and manufacturing details, and also recalculated the 50-ohm single-ended and 100-ohm differential controlled-impedance traces based on the final production stack-up. The finished boards look very good. The rigid-flex transition, flex section, contact area, solder mask/coverlay, PCB fabrication and assembly quality are all clean and well finished. More importantly, I have now installed one of the assembled boards on our FPGA evaluation platform and performed the initial bring-up and testing. So far, the board is operating as expected and I have not found any fabrication or assembly issues. I have attached several photos showing the fabricated boards, assembled boards, rigid-flex construction, and the board during actual bench testing. Overall, I am very satisfied with both the engineering communication and the final manufacturing quality. I received my order a few days ago, right on schedule. Your workmanship is truly excellent; it is a high-quality, well-crafted product. I am very satisfied with the purchase; the only downside was having to pay DHL a €30 customs fee, as I hadn't been informed about this beforehand. I am attaching some photos and a video of my project, showing both the testing phase (on a breadboard) and the finished build. The project is a home-built AM transmitter designed to bring old tube radios back to life. I will certainly be buying from you again.
